The Arizer Air is an incredible vaporizer that has been one of Arizer’s most successful portable vapes. It was created to offer vapor quality that could rival their popular Arizer Solo dry herb vaporizer, but in a smaller package with a swappable battery. Arizer recently released the new and improved Arizer Air 2 and today we’re taking a look at both of these portable vaporizer models and how the new model has made some big steps forward on an already amazing product.
The Original Arizer Air
The Arizer Air is a lightweight and compact vaporizer that is a great choice for new or experienced vape users. These vaporizers are 22 x 15 x 7 cm in size. They were designed with several features that made them user friendly and extremely efficient. The ceramic heating element and glass mouthpiece offer incredible vapor using a complete food safe vapor pathway.
The original Arizer Air is extremely easy to use. All you have to do is fill the bottom of the glass stem with herb and insert it into the heating chamber. Then you hold the up and down arrow buttons simultaneously to turn the vape on and use the arrows to set the desired temperature, which typically takes about 2 minutes. Temperature is determined by the light with 5 options:
- Level 1 (Blue) – 180°C / 356°F
- Level 2 (White) – 190°C / 374°F
- Level 3 (Green) – 200°C / 392°F
- Level 4 (Orange) – 205°C / 401°F
- Level 5 (Red) – 210°C / 410°F
Once the vape has reached its desired temperature, you can start enjoying the flavorful vapor these devices offer. You can cycle through the temperature settings during your session until you are ready to empty your vaporizer and back a fresh stem full of herb. The device will automatically shut off every 10 minutes as a safety precaution that also helps conserve battery. The batteries are interchangeable 18650 cells, the same kind used in many e-cig mods. They can be recharged in the vape or swapped out as needed.
The Arizer Air 2
The Arizer Air 2 was less about improving the functionality of the vaporizer and more about making it more powerful and convenient than its predecessor. These vapes have the same ceramic heater and glass mouthpiece and the size and shape is nearly identical at 23 x 16 x 7cm in size. Most of the improvements on this new model are in the internal electrical components.
The Arizer Air 2 has the same rechargeable and interchangeable lithium ion battery, but is efficient enough to make that battery last 1.5 times as long for a 90 minute battery life. In addition to having a superior battery life, these vapes also heat up in almost half the time of the predecessors.
When it comes to the temperature control system, the Arizer Air 2 is a massive improvement over the original model. Instead of being limited to 5 preset temperature settings, you can set your temperature to any whole number between 50 and 220 degree celsius. You can make these adjustments in ten or single degree increments. The digital display shows both the temperature and the battery level so you can get all of the information you need at a glance.
Fans of the original Arizer Air vaporizer will find the Arizer 2 to be a worthy successor to the original. Aside from a slightly improved airflow, the two units function virtually identically though the new model lasts longer and offers more features.
