Arizer Solo 2 Incredible 3 Hour Battery Life

The Arizer Solo 2 is a terrific new offering from the renowned Canadian manufacturer Arizer, makers of the Extreme Q, V Tower and the original Arizer Solo and Air.

The Arizer Solo 2 portable herb vaporizer has been reinvented with an incredible 3 hour battery life that will last as long as most would ever need. The heat time with the original Solo was a bit sluggish, but the Solo II heats up in a super fast 30 to 60 seconds! The Solo 2 has also been enhanced with remarkably precise temperature control allowing you to adjust your vaping preference one degree at a time and features a LED display, precise temperature control and Arizer’s legendary all glass vapor path.

The airflow has also been significantly improved with the addition of small dimples in the base of the convective oven. The airflow of the Arizer Solo 2 is much better than its predecessor making the draw easy and creating  incredible vapor performance. The glass mouthpieces are the same as always, and still do a great job of keeping the vapor comfortably cool.

Easy to Use…Easy to Clean

Keeping your Arizer Solo II clean is a snap because the botanical is never in direct contact with the interior of the device, except at the bottom of the oven.  The bell-end of the glass mouthpiece is the ‘bowl’ which is easily cleaned, leaving your investment perfectly clean! Just lightly drive the bell-end of the mouthpiece in your ground stash, give it a light compaction with your finger, and insert into the Solo II for a great vaping experience.  When you are done, just tip the botanical out while the mouthpiece is still warm, and reload! When the mouthpiece needs cleaning, a little warm soapy water or alcohol does the trick!

Using the arizer Solo 2

The Solo 2’s new user-interface is the biggest change between the original Arizer Solo and Solo 2. A bright LED digital display replaces the old 7 light temperature setting indicator. The navigation buttons sit just below the display. The center button marked with an “M” is your main menu button which lets you  access all of the custom options. The up and down arrow buttons that surround the menu button allow you to increase or decrease the temperature and change the settings in the menu.

Pressing and holding the menu button with the up button powers up the Solo 2. The screen will light up and a countdown timer will run for the default 6 second setting. When the counter reaches 0, the Solo 2 will beep and the led display will greet you with the familiar “Hi” and smiley face!

The next screen you’ll encounter is the temperature selection screen where you will see the current temperature setting front and center in large text and your set temperature in small text below the current temperature. To increase or decrease the temperature, simply press the up or down arrow button and set your temperature. The Solo 2 will automatically start adjusting up or down. The menu of the Solo 2 is uncluttered, easy to navigate and easy to use. This is one of our favorite vaporizers and we are really happy with the new LED display upgrade!

Precise Temperature Control

The new Solo 2, along with the Air 2 also add precise temperature control to the list of features. Through the LED display the Solo 2’s temperature range can be set between 50 – 220 degrees Celsius in 1 degree increments. The original Solo and Arizer Air maxxed out at 210 degrees Celsius, but with the Solo 2 you get an extra 10 degrees to work with, which is a great upgrade for lovers of big clouds!

The airflow of the Solo 2 also feels a lot less restricted than its predecessor. The original Solo had a tighter draw to it but the new Solo really flows and brings along more flavour with it! If you really want to amp up your vapor experience, give the Arizer Water Pipe Adapter a try…you won’t be disappointed.  

Why We Love the Arizer Solo 2

We really like the new, user-friendly menu system and customization options that are available. Arizer kept it simple and focused on what the device really needed. You can argue that the device is still too big to be considered a truly portable vaporizer and the separate aroma tubes add to the bulk factor, but size is just one aspect of portability. The 3 hour battery life will take you further from home and you will quickly forget about the larger profile when on extended expeditions. Being able to vape while charging is an excellent feature for vaping around the house with friends.

The decrease in draw resistance and increase in flavour and vapor quality is our favorite improvement over the original Solo. The 30-second heat up time is great when stealthiness or time is a factor. The digital LED display allows precise temperature control and the higher maximum temperature means users will be able to fine-tune their sessions for the ultimate vaping experience!.

The Arizer Solo 2 also got a new look for 2018 with a slightly slimmer profile and the hard edges have been softened with smooth curves. It definitely sits in your hand better and the quality machining is evident when you pick it up.

In a nutshell…

The Solo 2 does all the Solo does…but better…and for longer! This is one great vaporizer and even though it is not as pocket friendly as some other portable vaporizers, the extended battery life is the real portability factor here…it will take you further.
